Hello all, I am so grateful you have found me. I am in the process of restructuring this website, so please be patience with me. I will have more videos soon explaing how people can extend their hands and hearts to help Cambodia children. I want you to know that i'm in the process of learning as well. I would like to hear any ideas that you might have, please feel free to share with me.


My goal for 2012 is to raise $10,000 or more to add 3 more classrooms for a school in a small village in Cambodia where i was found as a child. My dream is that some day the people in these small villages get access to electricity , clean water, enough food, shelters, bathrooms and most important education for the children and healthcare for the people...

Many people are not aware of the genocide that took place in Cambodia under Pol Pot. From 1975-1979 Khmer Rouge government arrested, tortured and executed anyone suspected of belonging to several categories of supposed enemies. "Enemies" were
teachers, doctors, lawyers, government workers,
educated professionals, if you speak another language or wearing glasses. Abolished all currency and religion. An estimated over 2 millions people were killed.

Since 1990 Cambodia has gradually recovered, demographically and economically. Their are still many psychological scars for Cambodian families and émigré communities.

Members of the younger generation may know of the Khmer Rouge only through word of mouth from parents and elders. The government does not require that educators teach children about Khmer Rouge atrocities in the schools. The education system in Cambodia needs a lot of help.

The children in Cambodia are beautiful. But they need help. They carry many emotional scars from the older generations during Pol Pot. The population of Cambodia is over 15 million people in a very small country. Over 50% are under 21 years old due to a high fertility rate, lack of education, poverty, a huge HIV/AIDS, and prostitution are growing. There are lots of human trafficking as well.
